Frank Frazetta passes away at 82
Certainly one of the most influential artist in my life, Frank Frazetta possessed a seemingly innate ability to render creatures and characters without reference - or even practice. Stories of him completing paintings in one night that would take others months - or possibly years - are legendary. Everything Frank touched or tried his hand at was gold. He will be missed, but his legacy as the greatest fantasy painter will remain.
I made this Death Dealer study in photoshop a month or so ago. Now I guess it can serve as sort of a homage to him.
